Entry is free one hour before closing time. I liked the Grassi and Vismara collections on the second floor which features works by various European artists (instead of just classical Italian art).

Current Boldini exhibition is rather small, but permanent collections, especially more versatile ones on the 2nd floor, are worth visiting and will take you ~1,5h. Reduced student ticket is only 3€.

Well hidden on the left, between the main entrance courtyard and the garden, you'll find a vending machine selling fresh water at 35¢ only! (pic)
